In honor of Memorial Day, and what it stands for, our team volunteered this week to restore and preserve a very special memorial at the Ohio Solider’s and Orphan’s Home in Xenia, OH.
We hope you enjoy this video we created to highlight our team’s hard work and some history about the orphanage and memorial.
In 2021, we started We Care.
In an effort to give back to our team members and the community, we decided that throughout the year a team member would choose a charity of their choice and share their personal story of why that cause was important to them, then we would highlight their story and cause for an entire month. For each five star review the team received during that team members’ month, we would donate $50. In addition, for Memorial Day, we decided to restore a local Veteran’s memorial and when Christmas time was around the corner, we decided to come together as a team and raise money for shoes to be donated to a drive for those in need.
None of this would be possible without our team members and our customers, so with that, thank you!
We were so grateful to work with so many amazing charities and share the stories of our team members, and we can’t wait to see what 2022 brings. If you’d like to check out our stories from 2021, check out the links below:

Throughout the year, we partner with our teammates to raise awareness and money for causes important to them personally.
In October, we’ve partnered with our teammate Max to raise awareness and make a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
During the month of October, each time a client lets us know that our team delivered a 5 star experience, Perfect Paver Co will make a $50 donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on behalf of Max.
We’re looking forward to seeing how our team will work together this month creating raving fans to support Max and his cause.
Thank you Max for being vulnerable and sharing your story with us.
As many of you know, it’s been weighing on our hearts that we could do more to give back to the communities we serve and do so in a way that would rally the team together.
Each month we will share a story about a member of our team and the charity they’re passionate about. During that entire month, each time our team works together to create a raving fan and that fan lets us know, Perfect Paver Co will make a $50 donation to that team members charity.
In the month of July, we’re sharing Alyssa Bess’ story of how being a Type 1 Diabetic has impacted her life and what the charity she chose, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation,) does to help people just like her!
This Memorial Day, The Perfect Paver Co. would like to honor the men and women in the communities we serve and across the United States who have given their lives fighting for our freedom.
We are proud to be part of communities that make investments in honoring our fallen, and we want to do our part to preserve these investments.
This is more than a long weekend; this is an opportunity to celebrate our freedom and to pay our respects.
From the entire Perfect Paver Co. Team, have a safe, healthy and relaxing Memorial Day. And a special Thank You to Centerville City Schools.
It’s been weighing on our hearts that we could do more to give back to the communities we serve and do so in a way that would rally our team together.
Some brands that we look up to have a charity that they contribute back to, and we think that’s really awesome.
For us, we recognized that each person on our team has a unique story and a charity or cause that has impacted their life, so choosing just one wouldn’t work.
We’re so excited to share with you how our team has come up with a way to learn more about each other and what we’re each passionate about and work together to create raving fans all while giving back to the community for doing so.
Each month we will share a story about a member of our team and the charity they’re passionate about. During that entire month, each time our team works together to create a raving fan and that fan lets us know, Perfect Paver Co will make a $50 donation to that team members charity.
In the month of May, we’re sharing Scott Lammers’ story of how the Ronald McDonald House of Cincinnati has impacted his life.
When Scott’s wife became pregnant, they figured out through an ultrasound that their son, Jack, would be born with a heart defect. They were shocked and had to figure out how to move forward with this information.
So, they decided to take advantage of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital network and were able to be admitted to the Ronald McDonald House of Cincinnati. Instead of having to drive two hours everyday, back and forth while Jack was going to be in the hospital, they were able to stay at the Ronald McDonald House.
They had all sorts of activities there for them to take part in, food, and a room to stay in, all free of charge while they were going through this difficult time. Jack had to have surgery on his heart valves, due to blood not circulating enough to his lungs.
Fortunately, everything was successful and Jack is now like any other 2 year old – happy and full of energy.
Without organizations like the Ronald McDonald House, things like this wouldn’t be possible. We are so excited to be able to give back to the causes and charities that have made an impact on our team members, because they are who make Perfect Paver Co so great.
It’s finally here!!!
During the entire month of May, each time our team worked together to create a raving fan and that fan let us know, Perfect Paver Co made a $50 donation to our team member, Scott Lammers’ charity of choice, the Ronald McDonald House.
Well, May came to a close and we gained 48 new raving fans, for a grand total of $2,400 to be donated on behalf of Scott and his son, Jack!
We couldn’t be happier to be able to give back to our team members and to the community.
To our customers, please know that your feedback can make a world of difference.
Check out Scott coming back to the Ronald McDonald House and being able to donate the check himself!
Keep an eye out for the next team member we choose, as part of our We Care Initiative!
