Paver Sealing & Stone Sealing
Professional protective sealing that enhances color, guards against UV damage, and shields pavers from Florida moisture and staining.
Florida
In Florida’s climate, pavers take a beating. Intense UV exposure, heavy rains, humidity, irrigation systems, and shifting soils all work against your driveway, patio, pool deck, or walkway. Over time, small issues turn into bigger ones.
The good news? Most of these problems can be corrected.
Perfect Paver Co provides premium Florida paver restoration & paver repair services designed specifically for Florida homeowners. When it’s done right, your pavers don’t just look better—they perform better.
Florida’s unique combination of heat and moisture can be especially harsh on even the highest-quality pavers.
That’s why our process goes deeper than surface cleaning.

”We used another paver company in previous years and were very disappointed. We tried Perfect Paver Co and they were superior in every way. Professional, thorough, timely and most importantly the quality of their work was so much better. Sam was our foreman and was fantastic to work with. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the restoration work done here in Delray Beach.

There are several factors that determine how frequently you should seal in South Florida.
Natural stone surfaces like travertine, marble, and limestone generally need to be sealed more frequently than concrete or brick pavers because they are more porous and hold moisture longer.
Other factors that impact reseal timing include:
In Florida’s climate, most homeowners reseal every 2–3 years, but we’ll evaluate your specific surface and give you clear recommendations during your inspection.
Southwest Florida and Southeast Florida’s humidity and frequent rain create ideal conditions for mold and algae growth—especially on porous materials like travertine, marble, and limestone.
These stones absorb and retain moisture, particularly in shaded areas or around pools. Over time, that trapped moisture allows mold spores to grow beneath the surface.
Simply pressure washing the surface may remove visible growth, but it doesn’t fully eliminate spores embedded in the material. That’s why our process uses high-heat steam cleaning to effectively remove mold and organic buildup before sealing.
Natural stone requires a different approach than concrete pavers.
We use a controlled steam-cleaning process that relies on high heat rather than excessive force or harsh chemicals. The heat helps remove mold and algae while protecting the integrity of the stone surface.
After cleaning, we install polymeric sand in the joints (when appropriate) and apply a sealer specifically formulated for porous natural stone. This helps reduce moisture absorption and slow down future organic growth.
Yes—if it is installed correctly.
Polymeric sand provides consistent joint stabilization and helps prevent sand washout during Florida’s heavy rains. It also allows the surface to be sealed independently of the joint material.
We go into greater detail in this article.
The short answer: polymeric sand performs very well in Florida when installed properly and matched to the surface and joint size.
Cloudy or white sealer is common in Florida and is typically caused by:
Florida’s humidity makes proper prep and timing critical.
We explain this more in-depth in this article.
Yes. We offer professional sealer stripping and removal services.
If your pavers have turned white, cloudy, or uneven due to improper sealing, we can remove the failed coating and reapply the correct product under proper conditions.
This process must be done carefully to avoid damaging the surface, which is why experience matters.
High-pressure cleaning can create problems, especially in Florida.
You run the risk of washing out the bedding sand beneath the pavers since joint sand must be removed during the cleaning process. Excessive force can also open surface pores and accelerate deterioration.
Our steam-cleaning process uses heat to clean effectively while reducing the need for excessive pressure.
When the correct sealer is selected and applied properly, your pool deck should maintain its natural traction.
Our sealers are designed to integrate with the surface of the paver and its natural irregularities, preserving the existing texture. Overly applied or incompatible sealers are typically what cause slippery conditions.
We do not automatically include anti-slip additives because, in our experience, they do not hold up throughout the lifespan of the sealer and are often used to compensate for incorrect sealer selection.
That said, if slip resistance is your primary concern, we can absolutely include anti-slip additives upon request.
Yes. Florida soil conditions and improper base preparation can lead to settling or shifting over time—especially around pools and driveways.
Because we began as a high-end installation company, we understand how these systems are built from the base up. We address underlying issues before restoring the surface so the problem does not continue.
In Florida, we generally suggest sealing new pavers sooner rather than later—once the installation has properly settled and dried.
Sealing too soon can trap moisture, but waiting too long in Florida’s climate can expose the surface to staining, mold growth, and UV damage. We explain this in more detail in this article.
If you’re unsure about timing, we’re happy to evaluate your installation and recommend the right schedule.
Yes. We are properly licensed to operate in the state of Florida.
Licensing ensures accountability and professional standards—something every homeowner should verify before hiring a contractor.
Yes, we carry workers’ compensation insurance.
In Florida, it’s especially important to verify this coverage before allowing any contractor onto your property. Without proper workers’ compensation insurance, homeowners can be exposed to significant liability if an accident occurs.
We believe protecting our clients is just as important as protecting our employees.
Most homeowners call us because something feels off.
You don’t need to diagnose it yourself. Our team will assess your pavers, explain what’s happening, and recommend what makes sense to fix.
No pressure. No guesswork. Just clear answers.
If you’re tired of faded color, uneven surfaces, recurring weeds, or paying twice for the same problem, Perfect Paver Co is here to help.
