In most cases, yes. Sealing helps protect pavers from staining, fading, moisture intrusion, and organic growth while enhancing their overall appearance. When done properly as part of a full restoration process, sealing also helps extend the life of your paver system. 

We use proprietary sealers developed through real-world testing across millions of square feet of pavers. Our systems are designed to enhance color, protect the surface and perform consistently over time in a wide range of climates and conditions. 

Sealer longevity depends on factors like sun exposure, traffic, and maintenance. Most sealed surfaces will maintain their appearance and protection for multiple years. We provide aftercare guidance to help maximize the lifespan of your sealed pavers.

Sealing typically enhances the natural color of your pavers, making them appear richer and more uniform. If you prefer little to no color change, we also offer natural-look sealing options that protect the surface while maintaining a more original appearance. 

Sealing can dramatically improve the appearance of pavers, especially when combined with proper cleaning and repairs. However, results depend on the condition of the surface. 

Sealing helps reduce weed growth by stabilizing joint sand and limiting moisture intrusion, but it is not a standalone weed control solution. Proper joint preparation and stabilization–often using polymeric sand or other methods–play a key role in preventing weeds long-term.

We evaluate each project individually. In many cases, polymeric sand is used to stabilize joints, but in some situations alternative methods like joint stabilizing sealers may be a better fit. The right approach depends on the condition of the pavers and how the space is used. 

Yes. Proper cleaning is a critical step. Contaminants like dirt, algae, and old sealer must be removed before sealing to ensure proper adhesion and a clean, consistent finish. 

Yes. If an existing sealer is failing (whitening, peeling, or uneven), we can remove it as part of the restoration process before applying a new sealer correctly. 

We seal a wide range of surfaces including concrete pavers, brick pavers, and natural stone such as travertine, limestone, flagstone, granite, and more. 

When applied correctly, sealer is designed to enhance the surface without creating excessive slipperiness. In areas like pool decks, we can incorporate additives or adjust the finish to maintain safe traction. 

If there are structural issues like sinking pavers, failing edges, or loose areas, those should be addressed before sealing. Sealing over unresolved issues will not deliver long-term results. 

Most surfaces can be walked on within 24 hours, with vehicle traffic typically resuming after 48 hours. Exact timing depends on weather conditions and the specific project. 

We provide aftercare instructions to help you protect your investment. Regular light cleaning and periodic maintenance will help extend the life and appearance of the sealed surface.
